At Church Council it was decided for seniors to go to the Pioneer Restaurant in Versailles after the morning worship service September 9th.
Dyan mentioned we received a check for $203.20 from the disbanded Ivy Bend crime watch. They were dividing the funds between local churches to be used for the needy. Karen Moore made a motion to split the proceeds in half, giving half to the deacon’s fund and the other to replenish our church pantry. Floy Beard made a second. Passed
Carol wanted clarification on when the senior dinner was. Dyan to make a sign-up sheet to get an estimate on who is going to the restaurant.
Lyle made a motion to adjourn; Karen seconded. Pastor James closed in prayer.
Respectfully Submitted,
Dyan Dunsworth
Assistant Clerk
