Old Business:

Tomorrow is the first day we are hosting the mobile pantry.  We will see how it goes for a month or two before committing to it full time. Michele Chorpening also mentioned the Gerbes card is being processed.

New business:

Lyle Jones indicated that Poydras Baptist in New Orleans is wanting us to help with Vacation Bible School.  The dates suggested were May 30-June 3 or June 6-10. Dyan mentioned Pastor Marc also mentioned June 20-24; Lyle said Pastor didn’t tell him that date.  Our VBS is June 13-17.  No decision was made.

Travis Spratt is coming January 31st. Do we want to give him a flat fee?  He said he would sing for a love offering. It was discussed to invite area SB churches. Dyan will call and invite.

Carol Firestone asked about the boxes downstairs; Michele indicated they were for the mobile pantry.

Floy Beard asked how we did on the Lottie Moon offering.  Carol stated we did not meet our goal, but didn’t have the exact figure we received.

Bradley Davis mentioned insurance has been paid for the year. What about the bus? It costs about $400 a year to insure it and it is just sitting out there.  Some discussion.

John Stewart stated that next month we have to nominate a new nominating committee.

Floy Beard asked about the Shack.  No nibbles; several places for sale in the park.

Karen Moore made a motion to adjourn with John Stewart making a second.

Bradley Davis closed in prayer.

Respectfully Submitted,

Dyan Dunsworth
