Old Business:

Looked at carpet samples. 300 total yards are needed for upstairs. Average price is $23.99 per yard. This will not include removal of the pews. John Stewart suggested we just put a new covering under the pews that would be easier to clean.  Dyan said a prayer asking for the LORD’s direction. It was decided that we would table the project for now.

Treasurer’s report: Balance, if all designated funds are spent, has dropped a total of $4000 since August.  Expenditures come out of this. Spent $2000 more than we’ve brought in this year. No changes needed for budget.  Dorothy made a motion to accept, Dyan seconded.  Passed

Marie Mead sent a request to the Budget & Finance Committee asking for an annual $500 budget for the women’s ministry.   Dyan mentioned that the members have paid for their own study books in the past.  Dorothy explained the difference between WMU  and women’s ministry. She also said that money would go to teas, conference attendance, etc. Jenny Riggs mentioned that WMU is self-funded with giving through group members. Finance and Budget committee will bring recommendation.

New Business: Nominating committee needs children and youth chairperson.  Lyle mentioned that we need a contact person for plowing the parking lot this winter.  Michele is going to ask her son.

Dorothy Dille made a motion to adjourn.

 Respectfully submitted,

Jenny Riggs
